A glimpse of the association’s projects and success stories throughout our journey

Um Rummaneh Project

Establishment of a park and research center in 1997 on a 150-dunum forest land allocated by the Ministry of Agriculture, funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF).

Hazardous Waste Landfill Rehabilitation Project – Swaqa Area

Implemented in 1998 with the support of the General Corporation for Environmental Protection, with a duration of one year.

Qasr Amra Rehabilitation Project

Implemented in December 1998 with the support of the Ministry of Tourism on an area of 150 dunums.

Oak Tree (Melloul) Care Project

Implemented in December 1999 with funding from the Global Environment Facility on a 50-dunum area in Um Al-Rummaneh, for one year.

Qasr Al-Harraneh Rehabilitation Project

Implemented in June 2000 with the support of the Ministry of Tourism on an area of 76 dunums, for a period of five months.

Euro-Mediterranean Project

Implemented over a period of three years.

Database Creation Project on Desertification Phenomenon

Implemented in October 2008 with the support of the Ministry of Environment, with a duration of one year.

Roman Pool Rehabilitation Project – Al-Husn City

Implemented in 2005 in Irbid Governorate / Al-Husn City, in cooperation with the Al-Husn City Reconstruction Foundation.

Project: “Enhancing Urban Community Contribution to Environmental Protection through Organic Waste Recycling / Composting”

Implemented over two years (2022–2023) with support from the Environmental Protection Fund / Jordanian Ministry of Environment.

Project: “Textile and Clothing Recycling”

Implemented in 2024 with self-funding from the association’s resources, in cooperation with the European Union (EU/Medwaves) and the Sheikh Hussein Women’s Association for Sustainable Development / Irbid Governorate.
