Membership System

Article Six: Membership Conditions

A- Any person has the right to apply for membership in the association, provided that the following conditions are met in addition to those stipulated by law:

• Must be at least (18) years old. (It may be agreed to require more than 18 years, but not less than 18)
• Must have full legal capacity.
• Must work to serve the association’s goals and contribute to implementing its activities.
• Must agree in writing to the association’s bylaws.
• Must obtain the recommendation of two members of the General Assembly or one member of the Administrative Board.

B- Membership applications shall be submitted according to the form prepared by the Administrative Board...

C- Honorary members may be accepted for a period determined by the Board...

D- Legal entities may be accepted as members according to the regulations set by the Board. (Associations are excluded according to the Associations Law No. 51 of 2008)

Article Seven: Membership and Annual Subscription Fees

• Membership fee of 20 Jordanian Dinars paid once only.
• Annual subscription fee of 12 Jordanian Dinars paid in advance or in monthly installments.
• If the member joins during the fiscal year, payment is required only for the remaining period.

Article Eight: Termination of Membership

• Withdrawal approved by the Administrative Board.
• Death.
• Loss or lack of legal capacity.
• Delay in paying the subscription.
• Dismissal according to the bylaws (harm, misuse, violation).

The member has the right to appeal the dismissal decision within 30 days to the competent minister.

Article Nine: Reinstatement of Membership

• If membership is lost due to non-payment, Articles Six and Seven shall apply.
• Suspension may be lifted after the reasons are resolved and fees are paid.
• Fees or donations are non-refundable.
• The competent minister may reinstate membership in case of dismissal.
